One more from the sketchbook.

Sketchdump part two

Dump part two almost caught up to what I think is satisfactory.

Superheroes

So while I was working on the project rooftop thing I got into drawing superheroes, here are wonder woman and the hulk. I was never really that into superheroes but I have to admit they're kinda fun. Hope to do something with these at some point.

Sketchdump part one

Okay so to kick this thing back into gear I'm going through some sketchbooks from the past few months, expect much more to come.

GHOSTS!

excuses, excuses...

Got back from NYSSSA on Saturday and have been moving ever since new stuff soon i promise, thanks for the patience.

So Jillian Tamaki had a pretty cool skim fan art contest the last couple of days. I didn't win but it was fun to try, anyways here's my piece.

Superman Man of Style

so for anyone who isn't aware of project rooftop you should check it out, they do contests of superhero fashion/redesign. There's some great work coming out of there and I finally had time to submit my own. The contest right now is superman, whom I am not a huge fan of but oh well. Anyways here's my submission.

The same old fears

My Texas Wedding

Here's a piece I just did for the Texas Observer about the stresses of Texas Lesbian DIY Counter-Culture Weddings, probably one of the most oddly specific articles that I've ever had to work on.

Site Updated

Site updated, new news, work, links and updated about hurrah

Battle

did this a month or so ago but finally got around to scanning it cause it's big (18x24), man I need to knock that off and go back to a more reasonable size.

new sketch dump

Some new sketches, hopefully I'll have time to update my site with new works soon and when I do I'll post some of it here.

I've been drawing these tree guys lately, hopefully something will come out of it soon.

This is a sketch for a piece I'm working on for the Giant Robot GR2 Tree's show, hopefully I'll be able to finish/scan/post the final soonish.

And the rest of this is just random stuff from my sketchbook.

three blind mice

Hey folks, hers the piece that I did for the Giant Robot Year of the Rat show, my take on three blind mice. Pretty excited about the show unfortunately it doesn't look like i'll be able to make it to LA for the opening, so if anyone is in LA around the 15 til mid April let me know how to looks.

hairstyles

just playing with some hairstyles

three blind mice

mostly for myself as I am not at home, don't have my thumbdrive and can't seem to get it to email to myself

Giant Robot and Tentacles

here it is, the aforementioned giant robot versus giant octopus piece, was a bit of a pain to scan because i'm an idiot and made it like 18x24 so i apologize if the piecing isn't too great.

I'm hoping to keep this a bit more updated this year than last so hopefully more soon.

happy belated valentines - bearing one's heart

okay so i lied i have one more thing to post, did this the day before valentines so it's my belated early valentines day piece.

because really I'm sure there'd be a few people who'd be disappointed/surprised if i didn't posed something angsty for valentines.

finally some new stuff

random thing not really pertaining to anything, this'll have to hold you over til i can finish editing the other project, all i can say right now that it involves a giant robot and some tentacles
